Build 21 column Classified double
truck and full page ads
to 22 1/4" deep to allow for a 1/4" folio.
B&W & CMYK specifics:
- All B&W ads must be in grayscale. All COLOR ads must be in CMYK.
- We will not accept RGB, Spot, LAB or Pantone colors for Color or B&W ads. Please check your graphics carefully before creating the PDF files.
- Color or B&W ads may be mailed to The Palm Beach Post as native files if you are using a Macintosh Computer system and creating the ads using: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress or Adobe Pagemaker.
- We accept CD, Jaz Disk 2gig/1gig or ZIP Disk 100/250.
- If you are sending a native file, please create a folder with your file, your logos, images, screen and printer fonts.
- If you are using a PC/Windows based computer you CANNOT send files on a Disk to us. You must send files as an Acrobat Distilled PDF, VELOX, or NEGATIVES ONLY.
Acrobat Distiller settings:When creating a PDF file please click HERE to download our distiller Job Options.
If you cannot download our specs please use the following job options:
- Open Acrobat Distiller.
- In the main dialogue box, set your job options to Press Optimized
- On the menu bar, go to Settings > Job Options.
- On the General tab, make sure your Compatibility is set for Acrobat 3.0.
- On the Fonts tab, make sure the "embed all fonts" box is checked.
- Click Save As. This should automatically offer to save these settings in your Distiller Settings folder on your hard drive. You may want to name these settings "Post Settings", and select this whenever you are distilling a file to send to us.
How To Send Your Ad Electronically:
- We only accept Adobe Acrobat Distilled PDF files. Please do not send PDF Writer , Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator created Portable Document Format Files.
- Please E-MAIL us with your Company Name, E-mail address, Telephone Number, Contact Person and your Palm Beach Post Sales Reps Name and we will E-mail you a User Name and Password within 24 hrs.
- Once you receive your User Name and Password, log onto pbniads.com, then fill out the transmission form. The ad will not transmit if required fields are not filled in.
- Please be sure to keep your PDF file name to eight (8) characters or less with no dashes or slashes.
- In the instruction field please state "Classified Ad"
